Guillermina Bustos.

(born in Córdoba, Argentina, 1988) Based in Paulo, Brazil.

Artist and art researcher

[statement] Her work is considered as a research methodology of the orders of culture, specifically about different use of image and performativity. It is also intended as a possibility to open the discussion within the art system, with practices located tangentially within its limits. She makes interventions of spaces and everyday objects through drawing, painting, video and performance.

She has a Master in Arts, Mention Visual Arts, from the University of Chile. She has a degree in Art from the National University of Córdoba, Argentina. He has obtained scholarships and awards for arts research.

She has made more than 40 exhibitions in various countries such as Argentina, Chile, Brazil, Mexico and Colombia; individual, group and collective.

He collaborated as an assistant to artists Christian Jankowsky, Tomás Saraceno, Ricardo Basbaum and Lucas Di Pascuale.

Between 2011 and 2015 I coordinated the Contemporary Landscape Enconter in Santa María de Punilla, Argentina. Between 2012 and 2016 she was a member of the board of the Fundación Cultura Confines, dedicated to the management and education of contemporary art in rural localities. In 2013 she was Secretary of Culture, Education and Press of the Municipality of Santa María de Punilla, Argentina.

In 2015 I worked as a researcher at the Visual Arts Documentation Center (CeDoc) of the La Moneda Cultural Center, Santiago de Chile, Chile.

Since January 2015 she has been working on contemporary art research, training and residencies initiatives: Curatoría Forense – Latinoamérica; Cooperativa de Arte, Uberbau_house (São Paulo, Brazil) and VADB – Latin American art community.

He also works in the team of Editorial Curatoría Forense; in the organization of Meetings of Autonomous Art Management; and in the residency of art and social processes in rural localities SOCIAL SUMMER CAMP (Chile), OBRA PÚBLICA (Chile), and COMMUNITARIA (Argentina).
